Election Day- A Great Day to Think About the More Innocent Set
Happy Election Day!
I think about Emily now with my ballot because it is important to me that she have a wonderful life and I truly believe that who I vote for will have a significant impact on the future of our country. A future that my child will inherit. I might be an optimist that I believe so strongly that one person casting a ballot can change the course of history but I do truly believe that. Happy voting everyone and remember:
Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost. ~ John Quincy Adams
Speaking of the more innocent set, enjoy some photos of the littlest sprout on her trick or treat to the mall. She had a blast asking for candy, from people who were not even handing it out and running after her friend. She doesn’t know what candy is but it looked like fun.

I like the quote.
Lydia didn’t know what to do with her candy either. Fine with me! I don’t imagine we’ll get away with that next year!
